PHOTOGRAPHY PRICE

So you've seen my photography portfolio and your saying hmmm she's pretty good.  I wonder how much she charges.  Well let me let you know up front, I don't do packages.  I'm not Sears or your normal school photographer.  I let you pick what you want.   If you want 1 - 8x10 and 2 - 4x5, then get that.  You don't have to get a package of 20 photos that your not even going to use or give away.  I made this decision based on my history of buying either too many pictures or not enough when my kids got pictures from school, and I have noticed alot of other parents and families go through the same thing.  

If you want all the pictures on a CD and not have them printed by me...you can do that to. Actually I'd prefer you do this.  This way you can go to Walgreens, Walmart or any other place that prints photos and print all the pictures your heart desires.

* Hey Faith, how much do you charge....

* How many pictures come on the CD?

All of them...every picture that I have taken.

But!  If you want pictures touched up...thats $8 per photo

example:

$125 for the CD  + 5 Retouched Photos at $8 per photo = $40

So  125 + 40 = $165

* What is the difference between Untouched and Retouched Photos?

The main difference is that I make the photo blemish free.  Removing scars, pimples, bags under eyes, slim you up and get rid of other things that you dont like.  Not all photos need this....but some photos you really want to STAND OUT. See sample below.

* Why do you charge to touch up a photo?

Because this takes TIME and SKILL....and time and skill is not FREE :) 

Don't you have a picture on your wall that was taken and your saying to yourself...."OMG, I had a pimple right on my nose"!  Well I could zap that bad boy right off!!

* Why do you charge to put pictures on a CD?

I charge to put them on a CD because, basically I'm giving you full rights to reproduce my work.  You can print them on your home pc or go to any picture place and print hundreds of pictures....then you can take that same CD and copy it over and over and pass it around to family members and friends....and then they can copy and give it to more friends and family.  I don't mind that....but I have to put a price on my creativity and time.

* What if I lose my CD, can I come back to you 4 months from now and get another one?

Yes, for $125.00. So keep your CD's safe!

* Faith, do you have a studio?

Yup, right in my basement. I have all the lights, backdrops and fancy what nots at home. 

BUT! I am also portable.  I can travel to your location with my equipment, because some people feel more comfortable in their own home taking pictures, especially with children. Like I mentioned above.  I have 2 kids and I know how they can act when taking pictures at Sears and other places.  Either one is happy and the other one is crying or both are just all over the place.  If your in your own home...most likely they will be at ease.....hopefully :) 

* Do you charge to come to me AND for me to come to you?

Yes.  Due before pictures are taken

Sitting fee is $25.00 (my home)
Location fee is $50.00 (your home)
